We are please to announce we have released a new BETA version of sgcTrader 2012, which can be downloaded by all users (both registered and unregistered). We would remind to all users who download this BETA version, that this is not a final version and may be there are options  that don't work properly.

Changes from other BETA versions:

  1. Allows to move an already sent order.
  2. Close Open Positiions and Cancel all Orders with one click.
  3. Allows undo and redo on Charts.
  4. Wizard to create Symbols.
  5. Downloads all Symbols's contracts from TWS.
  6. Several fixes and improvements.

July 2011

We've released a new beta version of sgcTrader 2012, registered users will receive a mail with instructions to download this beta. New included in this version:

  1. Send orders from chart and view state, cancelled, executed...l
  2. Allows to modify, cancel... orders already sent.
  3. We've included new interface options, improving user experience.
  4. Now, you can auto-adjust temporal series or define wich area to view.
  5. Multiple bugs resolved.

We are working on a new version of our main application, sgcTrader 2012, that will be released most probably on third-quarter of 2012. This version will include important changes and improvements to prior version:

  1. We're redesigning the interface to make more intuitive and simple, while we are adding new features to make it more powerfull.
  2. New module to send orders from charts.
  3. Improvements on Backtest module with new functions.
  4. Inclusion of export module to export quotes to custom formats.
  5. Added support to download quotes from free providers like Yahoo or Google Finance.

New sgcTrader Free Version

Recently we have released a new free version of sgcTrader, this version can be downloaded and used as much as you want, more information

We have corrected too some bugs with FOREX quotes, these corrections have been included in all sgcTrader versions.

We would like to announce that we're developing a nuew scripting module for sgcTrader, where you could add new forms, access to Broker's functions and properties, call external programs, load libraries... On next weeks we'll inform about our progress.

Here you can download free version of sgcTrader.

It's a full application that you can use as much as you want but with some limitations to registered version:

  • Doesn't allows to save multiple workspaces.
  • You can create up to 10 Symbols.
  • You can send up to 5 orders per Symbol and Day.l
  • You can save only one BackTest.
  • You can't create alerts.
  • Only one connection to Broker is allowed.
  • Requires an active internet connection to start application.
  • No technical support provided.

We are developing a new program to access from iPhone or Android terminal to you Interactive Brokers Account using IB APIs. Possibilities are numerous, among others are:

  1. If you have developed your own ATS (automated trading system), you can access through your smartphone to display status of: orders executed, open orders ...
  2. You can run processes remotely.
  3. View your account results.
  4. DO NOT disconnect your TWS connection (as opposed to native programs from Interactive Brokers for iPhone or Android)
